  • Representing a private company based in Malta on the acquisition of a 75% stake in a group of companies in the sports betting sector in a transaction valued at US$ 750,000.
  • Representing Kara Energy Limited on its acquisition of a 25% stake in an energy company in Uganda in a transaction valued at US$ 2.4M.
  • Representing GDF SUEZ Rassembleurs d’Energies, a French company on its private equity investment in Green Bio Energy, a company that provides low-income Ugandan families access to cost-saving solutions such as energy efficient stoves, environmentally friendly charcoal briquettes, and solar lamps. The transaction involved conducting a detailed legal due diligence on the Company, review of contracts and transaction documents.
  • Conducting a detailed due diligence on a top Ugandan supermarket for a potential acquisition by a Mauritius entity. The due diligence involved review of lease agreements on premises rented by the supermarket and review of employment and all running contracts.
  • Representing Ngetta Holdings, an agro-processing company in northern Uganda on the sale of its shares to an Indian conglomerate in a transaction valued at US$1M.
  • Advising April Phillips Hospital Limited on the set up and licensing of a private hospital in Lugazi, Buikwe District in Eastern Uganda in a transaction valued at US$ 2M.
  • Advising Globe Safaris Limited, the proprietor of the Globe Safaris Mobile App on the sale of its shares to Ugandan angel investors.
  • Advising on the setting up and licensing of a private University in Uganda.
